Salon Policies & Disclaimers

A credit card is required on file to schedule an appointment. Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee a time. Your appointment is confirmed once a member of our team contacts you, usually within 24 hours.

We ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled service to the card on file. No-shows are charged 100% of the scheduled service. By requesting an appointment and providing a card, you authorize Gloss Scottsdale to charge it for the fees described in these policies.

Please arrive on time out of respect for every guest. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require an adjusted or abbreviated service, or rescheduling. If rescheduling is required, a late rescheduling fee of 50% of the originally scheduled service may apply.

Deposits are required for select services, extended appointments and clients returning after 12 months. Any deposit is credited toward your service total on the day of your appointment.

If you are not happy with your result, please contact us within 72 hours of your appointment. Complimentary corrections and adjustments are offered within that window. Requests after 72 hours are handled at the salon’s discretion.

We accept major credit cards and cash. We do not accept personal checks or digital payment apps such as Venmo.

Prices on our website are starting prices. Your final price depends on factors such as hair length, thickness, condition, products used and time required, and is confirmed at your consultation.

Results vary with each person’s natural hair, hair history, condition, texture and lifestyle. Photos on our website and social media show examples of our work and are not a guarantee of a specific result.

Please tell your artist about your hair history, previous chemical services, at-home color, scalp or skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, medications and pregnancy before your service. Your artist may modify, delay or decline a service that is not suitable or safe for you.

Color, lightening and other chemical services carry a risk of allergic reaction or skin sensitivity. They can also cause dryness, breakage or uneven results, especially on previously treated hair. Large color changes and corrective color may take more than one appointment, and timing and cost are discussed at your consultation.

Hair extension services require a consultation. Method, hair requirements and final pricing are confirmed at that consultation. Extensions can affect natural hair, and results depend on proper care. Clients are responsible for following the aftercare instructions we provide and for keeping up recommended maintenance.

Makeup products are applied to the skin. Please tell your artist about allergies, sensitivities and skin conditions before your service. How long makeup lasts depends on skin type, weather and activity.

Please keep your belongings with you. To the extent permitted by law, Gloss Scottsdale is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

We take great care with every service. To the extent permitted by law, Gloss Scottsdale is not responsible for results that come from information that was not shared with us beforehand or from aftercare instructions that were not followed. If you have a concern about a service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can address it. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
